Where is DeskyPaw?

DeskyPaw lives in the menu bar, not in the Dock. Click the paw at the top right of your screen for everything: choose a pet, change its size, play a trick, start a focus session or quit. Your pet walks along the bottom of your screen. Press Control-Option-P to hide it or bring it back.

Don't see the paw? On a Mac with a full menu bar, menu-bar icons can be hidden behind the camera notch. Quit a few other menu-bar apps to make room for the paw.

DeskyPaw from the Mac App Store

Free trial: DeskyPaw is a free download. Start the free 7-day trial from the welcome window or the paw menu. The trial is a free in-app item, so nothing is charged and nothing renews.
Unlock: after the trial, "Unlock DeskyPaw" is a one-time purchase through the App Store. No subscription.
New Mac or reinstall: sign in to the App Store with the same Apple Account, open DeskyPaw and choose Restore Purchases in the paw menu (or Restore Purchase in the welcome window).
Family Sharing: if you turned on Family Sharing, your family members can unlock DeskyPaw with Restore Purchases too.
Refunds: App Store purchases are refunded by Apple. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

License keys, activations and refunds for the version sold on deskypaw.app are covered in our Refund Policy and Terms. A license key bought here does not unlock the Mac App Store version, and an App Store purchase does not come with a license key.

Something is not working

Email us with your macOS version, your Mac model and what happened. A screenshot helps. DeskyPaw needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later on a Mac with Apple silicon.
